After another record-breaking year, Southern Springs and Pressings have continued with their investment plans for the spring manufacturing business.
An upgrade to their electrical system was completed which will enable Southern Springs and Pressings to proceed with further plans to purchase more machinery to keep up with current demands.
As the business has grown significantly over the past few years there was a need to build a new Management Software system to ensure their manufacturing processes are as efficient as possible. A bespoke system was built and installed and is now fully operational allowing the team to provide more efficient forecasting.
Staff development is key to Southern Springs and Pressings, Phil Palmer has recently been promoted to Trainee Production Manager after joining the business in 2012 as an Apprentice.
Visitors to this year’s show will have the opportunity to discover more about Southern Springs and Pressings in-house design capabilities and manufacturing facilities. There will also be the chance to find out about the many different bespoke parts they are able to produce.
